Year of the Monkey (猴): Traits, Wealth Style and Compatibility

The Monkey's cultural anchor is Sun Wukong, the Monkey King of Journey to the West — brilliant, disobedient, capable of seventy-two transformations, and eventually of considerable use once he had a purpose worth serving. The tradition reads the sign with that whole arc in mind rather than only the mischief.

The Monkey is traditionally read as inventive, curious, quick-witted and hard to bore.
