无妄
Innocence
Thunder under heaven: unpremeditated action aligned with what is natural.
Thunder rolls beneath the whole sky — movement in accord with heaven, without scheming. Innocence praises the unforced act: work done because it is right and in season, not because an angle has been calculated. Its counsel is alignment over contrivance — plough without prearranging the harvest, respond truthfully to what arrives, and accept that the uncalculated path sometimes meets uncalculated weather. What is done without guile keeps its strength whatever the sky does.
