Nourishment
The open jaws: attend to what you feed, and to what feeds you.
Mountain above, thunder below, shaped like an open mouth — the hexagram of feeding. Nourishment asks two blunt questions: what are you taking in, and what are you providing? Its counsel is discrimination at both gates — mind the quality of food, information and company you consume, and the quality of what you offer others. Watch what a person nourishes, says the old text, and you know the person. Feed the right things.
