The Abysmal
Water doubled: repeating depths that teach the practice of flowing through.
Water over water — the ravine repeated, the hexagram of depth met twice. The tradition reads this as a teacher rather than a doom: difficulty that recurs until its lesson is genuinely learned. Water shows the method — it fills each low place completely, honestly, then moves on without losing its nature. The counsel is thoroughness in hard passages: stay true to your centre, do the depth-work each stage asks, and keep flowing. Practised danger becomes skill.

A demanding stretch rewards liquidity and honesty: keep commitments fillable and move through each obligation completely.
