Difficulty at the Beginning
The sprout pushing through hard ground: chaotic, crowded, full of promise.
Thunder under water: the turbulence of anything genuinely new. Difficulty at the Beginning describes the tangled first stage — energy abundant, order not yet found. The counsel is to accept early disorder as the texture of birth rather than a sign of error: sort, name, and put helpers in place instead of forcing premature clarity. Everything worth growing looks like this at the start. Persevere in small ordered steps.
