The sun climbing over the earth: advancement that grows clearer as it rises.
The sun lifts off the horizon and climbs — the hexagram of visible advance. Progress describes a rising arc in which recognition and reach expand naturally, like daylight. Its counsel is to advance in the sun’s manner: steadily, brightening what you pass over, dependent on no shadow tactics. Promotion of this kind attracts allies because it costs them nothing. Rise clean, credit generously, and the climb continues to feel like morning.

Advancement is favoured and visible: accept the larger role, and rise by illuminating others’ work as well as your own.
