The tree pushes upward through the soil — growth that is invisible daily and undeniable yearly. Pushing Upward describes advance of the organic kind: no leap, no luck, just adapted persistent effort finding the gaps and rising through them. Its counsel is confident humility — go see the influential person, begin the climb, and trust accumulation over drama. The south-bringing step is favoured; smallness now is simply the early ring of a tall tree.
