Keeping Still
Mountain upon mountain: stillness so complete that clarity comes to it.
The mountain doubled — the hexagram of stillness as an achievement. Keeping Still is not stagnation but mastery of stopping: resting when it is time to rest, acting when it is time to act, and knowing the difference. Its counsel is locational — bring the mind back from wherever it has run ahead to, keep the back still, be fully in the place you are. Decisions made from this stillness carry the mountain’s kind of authority.

Pause major moves deliberately; positions reviewed from genuine stillness get resized more wisely than positions churned.
