Water over fire, everything in place: the perfected order that now must be kept.
Every line stands in its proper place — the only hexagram in perfect formal order, water above fire, each element serving. After Completion describes the moment a long effort clicks into balance: the launch shipped, the house in order. Its counsel is vigilance in good fortune — perfected systems have nowhere to go but out of balance, so the wise tend small disorders the day they appear. Completion is not a resting place; it is a discipline.
