Enneagram Test

Nine ways a life organizes itself — and the element each one runs on.

☯ East × WestFor reflection & fun

Two lenses, one you. The enneagram, in the concept-level form used here, sorts lives by their organizing concern — rightness, being needed, achievement, depth, understanding, security, possibility, strength, peace. This page reads those nine concerns through the five elements: the body-centered patterns lean metal and earth, the heart-centered ones fire, earth and wood, the head-centered ones water, earth and fire. That mapping is this site’s own interpretive layer — a conversation between an old diagram and an older cosmology, not a claim of equivalence. Hold your result the way both traditions intend: as a mirror angled at your habits, not a box built around them.

This site is offered for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only.

All eighteen statements and all nine type descriptions on this page were written originally for this site, working only from the enneagram’s public concept layer (the nine points, the three centers, and the tradition of core concerns). Type names used here — The Straight Edge, The Open Hand, and the rest — are this site’s own. The five-element reading is likewise this site’s interpretive framework. This test is offered for self-reflection and entertainment; it is not a clinical assessment and does not diagnose anything.

RHETI and The Enneagram Institute are registered marks of their respective owner, which is not affiliated with and does not endorse this site; no questions or descriptions here are drawn from their published materials. The enneagram symbol and its nine-type concept are used in their generic, public sense.
